Bio:

Chen Zhang is now a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor and Ph.D. advisor at the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research mainly focuses on ML/AI processors and accelerators, especially FPGA and GPU architectures.

He has published about 40 papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including ISCA, MICRO, FPGA, DAC, and IEEE TCAD, receiving 5 Best Paper Awards (FPGA’15, TCAD’19, MICRO’22, ISEDA’25, ISCA’25) and 2 Ten-year Retrospective Most Influential Paper Award (FPGA’15, ICCAD’16). His work has been cited over 5,600 times on Google Scholar, with a single paper cited more than 2,600 times.
