I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering at King’s College London, where I lead the SAIL research group. Our mission in SAIL is to co-design high-performance, energy-efficient software and hardware to power data-intensive AI and bioinformatics, ultimately fostering a healthier and simpler everyday life. My core research expertise lies at the intersection of computer architecture, processing-in-memory/storage, machine learning acceleration, bioinformatics, non-volatile memory, and secure memory. Prior to joining KCL, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the SAFARI Research Group at ETH Zurich, supervised by Prof. Onur Mutlu. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University under the supervision of Prof. Jiwu Shu.
